OK I have not updated the blog most of the month so I did most of February in one day so keep reading till you are all caught up.

We got our new Ac unit put in on the 19th so some of this is a little out of order. This is the day I went to my Dr's office for the third time that week to get my results for my glucose test. I don't know why I can not get a real person to answer the phone there, this is so aggravating. We pay for there services because of this it makes me want to switch dr's even more, if I only knew my results it would make a much needed answer to my birthing options.

I finally got the girl up front to get my results and she said they were all good so that is the answer I needed see yah, I wont be back or course I did not say this to her just to my self! She informed me that if I transferred I would not get to come back. I don't know if she meant ever or just while I was pregnant, oh well.

Well I had made up my mind and they kinda helped me with this decision by not answering questions and not spending quality time with me wile I was there, isn't that what we pay them for? anyway I will be going to Hear 2 Heart Birth Center where my questions get answered and I will be taken care of the way I should and my baby. This is also where we will be taking our classes. They just built a new building right next to the Hospital just in case medical action was needed. The pictures are not new on either website yet hopefully they will update it soon, it is very nice.

We had a disc dog event to go to on February 21 but we were felling a little lazy and I needed to catch up on the organization of the house and Todd on his work. On Sunday I had a horse show with the girls and Todd did take Beamer to the event after all. Todd did good with B' and the girls did great. Kari got her first first place ribbon not just one ribbon but two I wish I had pictures but the camera I have just will not stay charged. Here are a few pictures of them from the last horse show.

Yah almost there

What a stressful week where do I start.

We were scheduled to start our childbirth classes on Tuesday the 16th and they didn't have enough people sigh up. So since Todd got home early we did some shopping for the nursery and house back to Ikea we went LOL. I have been on top of all this prenatal stuff since I was 24 weeks along and had the hardest time getting a hold of anyone in my area and then when I did the classes either conflicted with our schedule or were in one day. So I called and they agreed to give us a private class starting next week. YAH!

On top of all that I had failed my first glucose test back in January and now I had to do the 4 hour one. Not what I was looking forward to doing. I got there at 8:30 am and they drew my first blood sample then comes that nasty drink this time I got the sprite flavor got it down and then it upset my stomach and gave me the shakes. I had to wait an hour then one more blood drawn at 9:55 by then I was feeling a little better but there were two more blood samples to be taken. I did not get out of there till 12 noon there went my day. Now we wait.

We have air!!

Of course with all this cold weather, and yes its cold here, our ac unit went ca-put. It started when we were watching TV one night and the little space heater we use while we are in a certain room so we don't have to crank the heat just stopped. It was going to mean that we would have a cold bathroom after showers but I wasn't to worried, we still have the heater although its not the best but its better than nothing. Well that didn't last long a few days later it would not turn on just in time for the cold nights that hit us again, several in a row. Todd made an appointment to have it replaced. The funny thing is that he had them come out and do an estimate several days before thinking we would get this done before it gets hot we didn't think we would need it to keep us warm. So here are the pictures of our well needed ac/heat unit.

Now we have a little more room for the washer and dryer and
Todd was able to vent it back out side, its now so much easier to do laundry
with out having to open the garage door and the dogs can now stay inside wile it is running.

The new fan its so big it takes up some of the walk way but efficient!

All done but now we have no hallway closet for coats and stuff we need more storage room
The houses here are unlike the ones back home, we have no basements and little storage space.

Now that this one is in, it works so much better than the original unit. Air blows freer and now the house is at a good temp and it doesn't run all the time the old unit ran all the time and it never made much of a difference in the temp of course they had it wired to the old temp dial in the other room that we thought did not work, no wonder the temp we set never worked right.

30 Weeks

Here is our little munchkin at 31 weeks. We went to an ultrasound studio in the quaint Cocoa Village called Ultra Care 4D. Here are some pictures and video of such a wonderful experience. No Dr.'s just a nicely decorated and clean room with me, my husband and the owner, We got several printed pictures and a CD of 25 pictures and a DVD, then afterwords we went out for dinner to celebrate Valentines Day a little early.

Ultrasound done on Febuary 9th 2010 at 30 weeks and 5 days.

Now we have a place for all of the books


Books in place check accent lighting attached check a place for the pictures that we need to update and display a little better check. We have a open space on the wall now, just wondering what to do with that...hummm.

Now for the office, what must come out has to go somewhere. This room started it all with the new computer desks so we needed a place for everything. We need some organization options to store it all so here is some of the other stuff we got at Ikea.

We needed a light for the art table and could not pass this one up. It is a dim-able light with brushed steel and a wood, the base matches the floor and at has nice glass shade.
Also the rollie art cart is now usable and not cluttered up with stuff. We also have a place for our artwork that is not displayed & it is now off the floor. Much easier to clean around and under, and the drawing table is now in use!

Here is the once over filled book shelf. It was once was hidden by the drawing table now it is stocked with my horse books, Todd's computer books and our important papers neatly organized in binders. As you can see there is still some to do that is on top of the shelf.

Now its onto the closet storage that Todd has filled to the max. I have started on it some with the newly added metal folder holders that match the computer desks of coarse they did not fit on the book shelf. Once this is done it will be time to move one last thing in the room that is taking up space in the nursery and then add some picture or art to the walls we have plenty of that!

We Conquered Ikea

Well this is what we did for my 30 week outing no baby bump pictures here just one of our very overdue projects. We needed shelving badly for the house, Todd has a lot of books and records. I love pictures and need a good place to display them so...... I found this great book shelf that I thought we could make ourselves but Todd just can't get the time in before the baby shower so we broke down and went to Ikea.

I had no Idea what this place was. I looked at a few things on the website but that was about it. WOW there was so many people there and hardly a place to park. When we walked into the building all the loading spots were taken. What did I just get my self into, we walked in this 2 story warehouse with a restaurant? o.k. I guess for all those hungry all day shoppers. Thank goodness we knew what we wanted. There were all these little rooms with designs ideas that was helpful but you could get lost easily if you didn't follow the arrows on the floor.

We looked at a few shelving systems that were displayed and walked around and looked at some of the room ideas as well before we decided on the system we got. It didn't take to much to convince Todd that the huge shelf was not going to work and all the spaces were square and all the same size. Fine for some but not for us with all the different size books and nick nacks we have. We needed some variety. Its funny that we didn't even consider the one we bought but it worked out great. We came there for black but there's was a black brown and looked cheep but the white had a better finish and should hold up better. I was getting tired and said get the Espedit series, we got 2 one that stands upright and we put one on its side so they look different. He was up for this, shew we are done at least that's what I thought. Here are a few pictures of the shelving and the others items we got at Ikea.

o.K. I know its not very creative but thats all I could think of for now.

O.K. another very busy week can you tell I'm exhausted I defently look it.
Saturday the 23 we had a Skyhoundz even with the dogs. We took Skyler and Rylie this was Skyler's third event and Rylie's second the did well I'm very proud of them both.
Todd did 2 rounds with both dogs and got a total of 10.5 points with Skyler and 7.5 points with Rylie. I Did two rounds and got 8 points with Skyler and 5 points with Rylie and of corse it was still windy but very nice weather. Here are a few pics from a photographer at the event.

So after a long day with the dogs it was the horses turn Sunday was the girls first show of the season for 4-H. They did Hunt Seat and Western. I will have their placings and pics soon.

No No theirs more Monday was the Equine Dental School day. I had 17 horses at my house thank goodness they were not all there at one time. Along with 1 vet and 4 instructors and 2-3 students per instructor. We got all the horses done around 4:00 I was beat. I have a few pictures of them I will post soon.
